A Foam Bladder Tank is a self-contained foam proportioning unit used for accurate, automatic injection of foam concentrate into a firewater stream. It offers unmatched reliability, low installation costs, and low proportioning losses — a critical component in industrial fire suppression systems.

Operation of Foam Proportioning Unit – Bladder Type
The Foam Bladder Tank operates by utilizing the water supply pressure to displace and inject the foam concentrate into the firewater stream. During operation, water enters the space between the outer foam vessel and the internal nitrile-reinforced foam bladder, compressing the bladder and forcing the foam concentrate out under pressure equivalent to the firewater supply.
This pressurized foam concentrate is then proportionally injected into the flowing firewater line through a UL-listed foam proportioner, which operates on the Venturi principle. The proportioner ensures accurate, automatic foam mixing over a wide flow range with minimal pressure loss, making it ideal for critical fire suppression systems in industrial and petrochemical environments.
