Features
  • Heavy top-guided valve, with no bottom guide to obstruct seat bore and potentially trap debris.
  • Trim options: Contoured, microspline and multi-spline (2,3,5 stages)
  • All trim components are removable from the top.
  • Large range of trim CVs per valve size.
  • Cryogenic applications.
TRIM DESIGNS
  • Contoured Trim:
Commonly employed across various applications, this trim is best suited for scenarios with minimal pressure drop. The uniquely shaped plug head in the contoured design promotes smooth flow profiles and facilitates efficient high-pressure recovery.
  • Soft-Faced Contoured Trim:
Appropriate for situations demanding airtight closure, this trim employs a plug with an affixed protective cover that secures the soft-faced ring in place, ensuring a strong seal.
  • Microspline Trim:
Ideal for extremely low flow rates, this trim design utilizes a seat-guided structure that can handle substantial pressure differentials without encountering instability. The plug and trim are meticulously matched to ensure a seamless fit and offer remarkable rangeability.
  • Multi-Stage Microspline Trim:
Intended for scenarios with significant pressure drops or potential cavitation. Designs with two, three, or five stages are chosen based on pressure drop and cavitation risk. For very high pressure drops over 100 bar, the plug and seat can be made from tungsten carbide or advanced ceramics.
