The model HLS horizontal float switches provide versatile solutions for monitoring and switching liquid levels, indicating minimum or maximum levels. The float, attached to a swiveling lever, moves with the liquid, and a permanent magnet triggers a reed contact when a preset level is reached. This non-contact, wear-free operation requires no power supply and is unaffected by foaming, conductivity, vapors, bubbles, or vibrations. The switch can connect directly to PLCs, NAMUR connections, signal amplifiers, or contact protection relays for universal signal processing.
